Sorry if this was asked before, i searched but i didnt find anything...
Yesterday i parked my car in the garage and when i switched from drive to parking i noticed a clicking sound, this noise also happens when i switch from parking to drive, it doesnt happen from drive to reverse or reverso to drive... I was wondering if this is normal? I didnt notice it before, the car is new, ive had it for less than a month...

    Thanks!

There are no gears that "switch". The only "gear" is actually what most posters call the park "pawl", which is actually a gear shaped device that slides onto the HSD housing to lock the output shaft. That may be what you are hearing as it's driven by a fairly powerful solenoid.

Reverse is electronic. It electrically drives the motor backwards. The engine is not involved at all.
