I'm thinking about getting the Clazzio leather seat covers and want to make sure the Clazzio beige matches well with my Prius bisque. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to know this as well since I also have the bisque interior.

I am not familiar with Clazzio, but i would think they would be willing to send you a couple color samples.

I got the samples and the color is a little darker. I think that I will have to look at an alternative to Clazzio. I was hoping that they would work.

Katzkin has a color which looked to me to be dead on accurate as a match for the bisque interior. I used an aftermarket-shop's samples to compare them. Oddly, the color isn't called bisque -- it's beach or something like that. Note that Katzkin installation requires removal of the oem seat material.

Where is a good place to get Clazzio at a fair price?

I had them send me some samples and the ivory matched the bisque interior better than the tan/beige. I ordered mine from Sparks Toyota... They have them for $449.00 with free shipping.

My buddy emailed them for his Tacoma, they gave him a discount and comped shipping

I pulled the trigger today and ordered the ivory covers form Sparks Toyota, because of Paul58's post about color. I called Sparks Toyota to see if they stock the ivory covers, but they were not able to give me an answer because the covers are shipped from Clazzio. What I did find out was that they had the covers on sale for $390 including shipping. I figure they are special order, but for that price I had to do it.

^^ Dang 390 with shipping isn't bad at all. I wish I get Ivory since the beige is too dark. Oh well maybe later down the line haha

They were listed as $449 w/free shipping when I ordered, but we were only charged $390. I had no idea they were on sale, but was happy to see we got the sale price! I figured if I had to wait on the Ivory anyway, I'd jazz them up a bit and have them done with black stitching...

I went down to the Clazzio warehouse in Torrance on Saturday. I'm partly color blind, so I took my mother, who's an artist, for advice. We tried several different colors. They were willing to open up the boxes for us and let us put the covers over the seats to see how they matched with the interior, so we were able to get a good feel for how they tied in to the overall color scheme. Results as follows, (BTW, my Prius is red with bisque interior):

Beige and light beige: Both are too yellow for the bisque and so don't look right. I would advise against either of these.

Black: Too dark. Overpowering for the rest of the car. Also has the disadvantage that it will heat up in summer.

Ivory: Acceptable. Doesn't really match anything in the car, but doesn't clash, either. Disadvantage: will show all dirt. (I have two little ones, so this is an issue for me.) Edit: Also, it's a bit too bright for the rest of the car. Some might like it, though.

Light Gray: Very nice. It's an exact color match for some of the trim in the car, (there's a gray strip that goes along the windows, for example). Also has a more subtle look. The Ivory covers stand out more. I almost went with light gray.

Gray: As an afterthought, we tried the darker gray, and liked it. On my Mom's recommendation, I decided on this. It ties the dash in with the other trim. It also wont show dirt as easily as the light gray, although I would say the light gray is more subtle. My Mom the artist assures me the dark gray was the best choice.

I'll be picking them up later in the week, and installing them when I get a free couple of hours, (which might be after April 18th. I have a tax preparation business). I'll take pictures when and if I get a chance.

I installed the passenger seat cover yesterday. I'm going to have to do it bit by bit since I don't have a large chunk of free time available.

The dark gray looks good against the Bisque. My one caveat would be that the the plastic pieces that the headrest slide into come out of the seat cover (intentionally). Since they're Bisque, it creates a contrast in an area I would have preferred to have match.

I'd love to see photos when you're done (if you'd be so kind)

I'm considering this combination for my III. I'd probably want to go ahead and get the center armrest and door inserts done in the same color....

Thanks for being a trail blazer!:thumb:

No worries. Though pictures might be a while coming. It'd probably be faster for you to drive over from New Jersey to Torrance, (CA), and see for yourself. ;)

The armrests are included in the Clazzio set, front and rear. I put the front one on already. It looks okay, except there's an obvious pull where the straps are.

I'd love to do the door inserts. I don't know much about this, but I imagine you'd have to buy some fabric from Clazzio that matched and actually replace the inserts that are in there, which is more than I want to do.

The trip might be a bit much, so I'm more than happy to wait;)
(unless another PC member has already done this combo)
I kinda figured that the rear armrest would be included as it's "part" of the back seat, but I'm happy to know that the front is included.
I have to think that I'll let a real upholstery shop do the inserts, as the pleather would probably need to be glued in place after being fitted.
Temperatures here being what they are, it's going to be a month or so before I'll be able to do this, so I'm still gathering information/ideas.

    Thanks!

Both front seats are in now, as is the center arm rest.

The verdict's in from my wife: she hates it. Says the gray was a bad choice and wonders what I was thinking. She was suffering from the flu, though, so may have been especially cranky.

I personally don't think it's bad, but I'd love to see what the light gray would have looked like installed.

There's a beautiful burgandy color out there. I forget who makes it though as I can't seem to find it online anymore.

Sorry about the wife (illness and opinion:eek:)

I think the light gray would match the "A" pillar and headliner. Not sure if I'd like that color on the seats with all of the other trim an equal-in-tone Bisque.
I'm still leaning toward the Dark Gray...
