I have a SPX Level 2 charger that I bought in 2012 for use with my 2012 Chevy Volt. I recently bought a 2017 Prius Prime. I am surprise to find out that the SPX charger plug does not quite fit the Prime. It does not fully engage and will not go on far enough to latch. Yet, I can use the the same public charger (like at the shopping center), with both cars. Can anyone tell me why the SPX charger is not compatible with the Prime or whether anything can be done about it? Thanks

Nope but pics of each would surely help. If the SPX is J1772 certified, it should work.

they should all work, except for some very early volt evse's iirc. check for loose o rings or such that might be interfering.
i have an aftermarket evse that is very tight in my pip, compared to the oem.
