[IMG]Our mpg is so sensitive with the gradient changes on the road.

There were many times I didnt realize I was climbing a hill and when I realized my speed dropped, I had to use more gas to pick up my speed again.

I found this really cool gauge on ebay. Has anyone thought of this?

Wow... That is a cool gauge...

    What's it called?

    How much does it cost?

This would be a really good instrument to correlate with engine RPM at highway speeds...

Then if I could figure out where to get one of those sensors that airplanes use to measure crosswinds I could better use trucks in the lanes next to me to block the crosswinds, which is way safer than slipstreaming directly behind those big trucks.

This thing is so cool, it measures the slope of the road, not wind direction btw.

You can buy from ebay for $7 bucks, hurry before its gone.

that's pretty sweet! does it have to mount on a flat surface? or can you adjust it to level after you've mounted it?

Visually, is it sensitive enough to be useful? Without a magnified view, I have some doubts.

I have liked a GPS field displaying elevation, as it betrays even very shallow slopes. Too bad that is lacking on the built-in Nav.

I just mounted this upside down, it can be adjusted to level on any surface.

    Great little toy/gauge.
