Did you check the gas cap to make sure it was tight?

Dealer said it was a bad O2 sensor and they will replace it next week. Hope this isn't an indication to the quality of this car. I have actually thought about selling it back to the dealer.

FYI, the O2 sensor is one of the most unnecessarily replaced parts on a car. There's various problems a car can have that would falsely cause the O2 sensor to throw an error.

My check engine light was caused by the gas cap. The first thing they asked me when I called the dealer was whether I had gassed up recently. I made sure the cap clicked and the next day when I started the car the check engine light was off. A co-worker with a Honda said the same thing happens to her.
