Changing tire size?

    I wanted to upgrade me stock tires from the 15" to 215 50 17 question is will this throw off the speedo or milage reading?

    Yes and no.

    Your speedometer is offer from the factory by 1-2mph and the new tire size will make the speedo more accurate. Give me the exact tire you want and what you have now.

    Don't get the 215/50/17 size. Looks too fat. Stick with 215/45.

    Good catch. I read it as 205/50/17 which would be an alternative to the 215/45/17.

    I found someone selling a set of 215/50/17 on rims or 202/55/16 the 17" are snow tires and the 16" are all seasons I'm looking to get something for the winter driving which would be best? I'm guessing he used these on a Matrix.
