Changing speedometer from k/hr to m/hr

    Okay I am feeling pretty stupid. I filled my 2013 Prius C3 with fuel today, pushed the button to reset the Trip A odometer and drove off. Then I discovered that somehow the speedometer display had changed from MPH to KPH. I've looked through the owners book and can not seem to find where to change that setting. Any idea why this changed and how to reset it?

    Here's the page 188 in the owner's manual:

    Some models, pressing and holding the “TRIP” switch will switch the display
    between MPH and km/h.

    My Owner's Book has similar wording but on page 120. I'll go try it. YES, that worked! Thanks!

    The trick is that the screen must be displaying the odometer (and not "Trip 1" or "Trip 2") when you do this. So you briefly press "Trip" as many times as is needed to get the odometer to be displayed, then you press-and-hold "Trip" until the speedometer changes.

    mine, a 2014 prius 3, has a rectangular button that has km/h over MPH. Just to the left of the radio off/on button.

    Here too, in our 2010 Prius, simple button on the dash. Much easier!

    It's not good when they turn the car into a rolling cell phone; fundamental stuff like this should be easily/readily accessible, not buried in tricky menu.

    Don't feel stupid, I did the same leaving the dealership! Switch your trip to the odometer and press and hold the trip button.
