Change out rear door?

All the doors I've changed would haven't been many but usually you unplug everything in the door the motor the door lock and all the nonsense clip any Panduit straps or tie straps or mounting points for the wiring You clip those with your little nippers when you pull all the wiring down and then you squeeze the gasket that goes from the door to the body frame that's in the door jamb you withdraw the wiring and lay it all on the floor still connected to the car and then you unbolt your hinges or your door or whatever it is you're replacing hinges and the door etc you'll need a jack like the one in the trunk but you probably going to want something a rag or piece of rubber on it so it doesn't damage your door like the saddle that sits on the jack point now going to be on your door ed so you need to do something about that to not scratch the paint getting the door level is kind of tricky there are a bunch of videos it doesn't matter if it's a Toyota any car similar any unit construction car you will see when you take the door bolts loose everything is going to sag and look kind of stupid when you put the new door in place and you put the bolts up you see the marks that the hinges of your original door made on the door frame like be discolored and stuff You want to tap the new door and cover the marks of where your old hinges were Don't tighten them down so tight You can't do anything and then offer the door up to the hoop clasp that closes it and locks it and see if it's smoothly looks correct and adjust from there carefully You don't want to loosen bolt so everything's about to fall out again barely loosen the bolt and jack up on the end of the door whatever it is you're doing to make the necessary move lock the bolt back down again slide the jack but leave it at the same height off of the door up again Is it closer etc so on and so forth It is a pain in the butt body work stinks but once you get it close well it'll be close if you can't get it any closer you can run it by any body shop anything like that door adjustment shouldn't be too bad.
