Somehow the background color on the indicator display (dashboard where it shows speed, etc.) got changed from blue to red.

I can't figure out how to change it back!

    Does someone know?

Press the "Drive Mode" button near the shifter. It goes between blue, green and red.

    Blue is Eco mode
    Green/teal is normal mode
    Red is Power mode

Welcome to Prius Chat. You are now the proud owner of a fantastic conglomeration of techno-wizardry on wheels. Whenever your battling with insomnia, have a read through the owners manual. Guaranteed to be asleep before you finish, but you will pick up lots of little nuggets about the car's idiosyncrasies.

When it went to Red (PWR mode) you should've also noticed a big difference in how the gas pedal feels.
