    Hi all,

I have been lurking these forums for the last couple weeks as this will be my first prius I purchase. I was wondering if word has come out if the prime will be eligible for the green HOV sticker? I check the ARB website almost daily in hopes I see the prime added to the list but no dice. Any info would be much appreciated.

Confusing situation but I think we are waiting for Gov to sign Senate Bill 838 by Sept 26 is his deadline. Actually if he does not sign it, I think it becomes law. So he needs to not veto it by Sept 26.

Someone on GM-VOLT forum is saying more green HOV stickers was approved yesterday, which I also posted here last night as a maybe. But the Press has not picked up on this yet, so I am waiting for the "smoke to clear" to make sure this is final.

Re: HOVI think the main difference was the the number of stickers available, whereas white was unlimited but green has been set to run out at 85000 which was reached last year. So now temporarily equal status.

But both are slated to expire Jan 2019, so the next legislative session will focus on the future extension of the program beyond 2019, and one argument will be that batt size needs to be 8+ kwHRs at least. That's when white could get more than green depending on what they want to do.

EV/FCEV get a little bigger CVRP rebate $$.
