Ok, I tried searching on this site, newcelica, and my matrixowners site I'm on all the time.

    I'm having trouble.

We just got my wife's Prius last weekend, and I've already been looking at different rim options for her.

I want to keep it the same size (15" wheels)
so the only thing I can think of that Toyota has out there is the last generation (7th???) Celica.

If I was able to figure it out right, the stock Celica GT (not GTS) wheels are 15x7 (i think) and I'm unsure of the weight. Still trying to figure that out.

If I'm right, the 2010 Prius 15" wheel is 15x6. And I'm unsure of the weight as well.

    Has anyone done this yet?
Can someone help me answer my question of if the Celica wheels will fit with no issue since its a little wider?
And what the weights of the Prius and Celica wheel is?

And last question, does the wheel cover on the stock 15" just pull off like a hubcap? or do you have to do something to take it off.
I was trying to tug on it, but felt like it didn't want to come off, I'm just unsure about it.

    Thanks in advance.

The oem 15" stock wheels I think is around 17 pounds give and take. As for the celica wheels they should fit, the offset should be similar.

The plastic part just tug really hard, that's how mine came off. good luck..

I just bought a set of stock celica 15s off the last gen celica for my gen II prius. They have michelin mxv4 1956015 which tire rack says should be 22lbs. They are 38.6 on the bathroom scale (not the most accurate I know) which should put the rim at around 16.8lbs. I have heard two different numbers for the stock prius wheels, 14.5 and 16.5. So they are either a bit heavier, or the same.

I did see another prius chat member with them on when I did a google search.. it's a few posts down, red car.

I had Celica GT-S 16" wheels on our Matrix. Should fit (if you like 16") your car fine as tire is 205/55/16 size.

I weighed the OEM 15" wheel & tire at 34.5 lbs. I've heard that the wheel is 14.5 lbs but I'm not certain about that.
