I just received my Prime and made a little wall mount for the CCID, cord, and plug (pic attached). After completing this I was breezing through the instructions included with the CCID and it says not to mount the CCID with screws to the wall but to only use a hook. Is there any reason for this?? There are 2 holes at the top which are even countersunk....making me think this is where screws would go. Thoughts? I'm tempted to leave it.....but maybe this is for cooling reasons?

I'm guessing it would be heat buildup.

If you're concerned about heat, put some stand offs under the unit. Get screws 1/2" longer, buy or concoct some 1/2" long tubes with the right I.D. and enough wall thickness to be supportive, and screw through the mounting holes and the spacers.

i used commercial velcro, leaves a 1/8" space for airflow.
