Finally one State is doing something about cat theft using bait cars. Probably using a G2 they cant rest those cars. Costa Mesa is going after catalytic-converter thieves with bait cars (msn.com)
We need to do this sting stuff nationwide. Slip an apple rfid tag in one, then follow it back to the shipping container before it sails off for china, pretty sure whoever lost a container full of precious metal would be quite upset. And make it so you must show ID to recycle, just like any other metal buy back in the CA state.
Many of them would just move their business, victimizing others. Putting them out of business is much better.
