Here are the same four pieces of luggage, loaded first in a 2015 Prius v and then a 2010 Prius hatchback. As you can imagine, the hatchback's door could barely close, but the v swallowed up the luggage with room to spare! Good thing too - we are leaving for Disney World in a few days and need extra room for all the souvenirs. :) image.jpg

Yep, that's why we picked the v over the liftback.

Great representation of the differences in width, depth and height.

Too, it is why I own a v.

FWIW, I have on more than one occasion, hauled 10' long items such as lumber, pipes, etc. in my v with the hatch closed. Granted, one end is up on the dashboard. Does anyone know if that's possible in the hatch?
