Hi everyone, I know there have been a few very old posts on this subject including this thread for those searching: Disable passenger-side airbags for infant car seat? | PriusChat In any event, I've got a few questions which haven't already been answered and instead of resurrecting such an old thread I figure I'll post a new one! 1. Does the automatic weight sensor in the front seat also disables the side curtain and seat airbag or just the front one? 2. What if baby + carseat are too heavy and make the sensor think its a person - my laptop bag has triggered it numerous times? Can I pull the fuses? ...and yes I realize the baby in the back is the best place - in certain situations not possible so appreciate the info. ~thanks
I would sure hate having given advice on how to not protect your baby correctly. The back seat folds 60/40 so you can have it down on just one side.
