I am waiting for a 2010 Tech package. I am told by the dealer that the car has been in the Port of Entry (New Westminster, B.C. ) since last weekend (the 13th of March). Does anyone know how long will it be in New Westminster at the Port of Entry before it gets on the darn truck and up my way? I realize that it has to go through Customs and has to have some rims installed prior to leaving the port, but really? How long does all that take? Dealership wouldn't provide any info just saying that it would be here by the end of the month. Any info on your experiences regarding wait times would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I thought the POE was in Richmond. Maybe the storage is at Richmond and it gets unloaded at New Westminster. If that's the case, then you'll have to wait for it to get trucked to Richmond, then onto a truck (or train) that is eastbound. I think he's playing it safe by saying the end of the month. I think it sounds reasonable (I'm guessing next weekend). Don't forget that once it arrives in Kelowna, it needs to be PDI'd. (mudguards, wheel locks installed, all the plastic wraps/covers removed, car washed etc etc)
