I was trying to do the carbon fiber mod for the emblem and found out the front emblem in Pip with advance tech package is different than others. it is hold by screw in the back. I think I can still take it off, but not sure if the factory blue/black insert can be replaced. anyone know?

You shouldn't mess with the emblem on the PiP Advanced, because the Dynamic Cruise Control radar is located behind the emblem (which is why it's a flatter, radar-transparent emblem).

There were threads on this back in 2010 and since. Noone has ever reported being able to do the swap in the AT version. I asked at one of the online parts stores that get those types of replacement parts from Japan. After a little research, they said it couldn't be easily done with the AT (and now note that on their website).

Yeah, it's not like the rear one nor like the front one on a base pip. Leave it be IMO.
