Hello, I have had my 2002 Prius for about a year, so I have some experience with the car but nowhere nearly as much as you veteran guys. I've had some issues with mine, and I need some expert guidance. After replacing a failed transaxle, I drove the car for a month and then the replacement transaxle failed while driving. Now, the shop tells me that the transaxle failed, but the traction battery is toast now too. There are warranty issues at stake here which I need to resolve. Can the failure of the transaxle cause damage to the battery system? Online references to any data on this issue would be extremely helpful. Many Thanks Dave
