Can I drive Gen 2 with HV battery removed?

    Car got in accident. I want to take it to the scrapyard.
    Wanted to remove the HV battery first to try to sell.
    Will it drive at all with HV battery missing?

    I don't believe so, the HV battery is what starts the car.

    Nope.

    HV Battery is needed to start the engine, set the gear ratios for the eCVT, and propel the electric motors that provide the low end Torque.

    12V battery only runs the auxiliary electronics.

    It's not moving an inch.

    If the hv battery is good, don't take it to the scrapyard. Sell it on Ebay for a reasonable price and the buyer can take it away.
