Am getting a new maf sensor ,but was wondering if bad maf could make run at higher rpm ,this my 1st gen one seam this one runs much more time at higher rpm
Have you cleaned the throttle body recently? When I did that on the Gen1/Gen2, idle RPM was high for awhile until ECU adapted. Although I could never figure out how did the ECU know I cleaned the throttle body. Didn't disconnect battery etc... and the TB plate wasn't too dirty so I would expect the air leakage at idle to have changed at all.
