Can anyone tell me how the Dr. Prius app readout should be on a healthy battery?

I'm new here. I decided to replace my hybrid battery after I was advised that's what needed to be done by an ASE Toyota specialist mechanic. I have only owned the car for about 19 months. I still owe a lot on it and I knew if I sold it anywhere needing a new hybrid pack I would not get much for it, so I decided to bet on the Prius running OK or a few more years and fixed it.

I did about 2-3 days of research. It's a rather terrifying repair and I did get a 75,000 mile warranty on the new one, which the shop says is Panasonic, the maker of the Toyota OEM. (If I made the wrong choice please don't hassle me about it. It's done. I needed to get my car back ASAP. No time for GreenBean or other well-known options. GreenBean would have taken 10 days because they are so busy in my area.)

I have gotten the Dr. Prius app and I want to know if the readings are reflective of a new battery pack. Can anyone here help me? If so, I will upload some screen shots from Dr. Prius.

I also called GreenTec because they have good reviews at the BBB site, but they could not/would not tell me if their batteries are made by Panasonic.

    Thanks.

How much did mechanic charge to install the new battery pack? It's only a two hour job I charge $100 for... But most mechanics would rather rip people off and charge 6 hours knowing full well they'll get the job done in two hours, because Toyota says that's what book hours say.

    Did you change it yourself?
It's an easy repair. Everyone seems to want to make it seem like a scarey thing to do.
    It's really not.
Who "advised" you it needed to be done by an ase toyota specialist mechanic????
I know toyota won't sell the hybrid battery over the counter any longer. They can only ship
    it to a repair business...

So who changed it? What did they charge you?

If it works, and YOU are happy, you didn't make they wrong choice.

The "big" thing on Dr Prius is the Volt Diff data (voltage difference). This is the value of the highest block voltage minus the lowest block voltage.

You want to monitor that value while driving the car, with hard accel and decel. With a new Toyota battery Volt Diff stays at around 0.1V under most all conditions.

So long as the maximum is 0.3V for no more than a few seconds, then you are "ok". The higher the voltage diff is for a longer time, the sooner the ecu is going to set a code.

Yep... The voltage difference number is all you need... Life expectancy test can be useful if you're new to the app and hybrid batteries in general, but folks who've used the app for years just need the voltage difference data and error code reading features.

How can someone do a Life expectancy test on a Gen 3 Prius or Prius C, if to charge the battery to 72% you need to step on the gas pedal to the floor and the charging current is 80-90 amps but not for long, and after a couple of attempts the Prius stops giving a charge at all?
