On my Gen 2, each time I filled up, I would reset the average MPG figure in the Consumption screen, so that I could see a per-tank average. I don't see a similar option in my 2012; is there a way that I can see what I'm averaging with each tank of gas?
I keep Trip A for fill-up to fill-up measurement and use Trip B for actual trips to be measured separately. You reset the Trip by holding down the trip button for a few seconds when the trip to be reset is selected.
I do as mentioned above, but I also use an app on my phone to track my economy, expenses, etc... DROID RAZR ? 2
Seriously? Thanks... strange that Toyota did it this way. Never even considered that they'd combine this with the trip meter.
That wasn't obvious to me either. I had to look it up in the instructions. Great car with a significant learning curve. Its sort of like learning a new computer operating system
It's a learning curve for me, too, and 1) I had a 2nd gen Prius, and 2) I'm not normally one to need to RTFM.
