We're looking to buy or first Prius V used. I have my eye on one that has about 60k km but is less than a year old. Looks like it was purchased in November last year.

Is there anything to concerned about with a Prius getting lots of mileage in under a year?

Up in Vancouver, Canada and used is pretty slim pickings.

    Thanks!

60km (37k miles) is barely broken in. You can get 300km pretty easily. And then you might want to change the spark plugs.

Thanks. I had read that higher mileage in a short time could be bad for the battery due to how much it has been cycled. Is this something to be concerned about?

Not in my opinion. I would certainly buy the 17 over a 16 or 15 with the same mileage if the price was right. Here's a link to a guy with 230k miles that is asking how to know if his battery has more life. Hybrid Battery at 230K miles | PriusChat

    welcome!

i would assume that much mileage in a year is mostly highway, does not involve a lot of cycling, and is very easy on the battery.
prius batteries like to be used. old cars with low miles tend to be a problem.

    all the best!(y)

The Prius reacts poorly to just sitting. Taxis get great longevity due to never being off.

    I put 30,000 miles a year on my 2012 Prius v as a computer tech until I retired in 2016. (50,000 km)

    Best of luck!
