I'm curious as to why when you build a package five prius on toyota.com you are forced to select the navigation package or advanced technology package. I have a package five 2005 prius with the nav and never use it. I want to purchase a pkg five 2011, but basically just want a base model, no nav. I know you could get a 2010 prius V without navigation... I've seen those in person. Does anyone know if you can get a 2011 Prius Five without navigation?
this would be dealer specific. ask them and they cam order it for you. of course they won't like it but it can be done.
You might have to go to a different region! chicago area? Good luck this is what I wanted a base V (five) could not find one, Found one with just nav and made a deal on it! Many happy V (five) owners here: http://priuschat.com/forums/gen-iii-2010-prius-main-forum/77753-you-happy-your-pkg-v.html Good luck let us know what you do!
Yeah, certain regions only get certain models equipped certain ways sometimes... It happened here in NYC when the Gen III first came out as well.
TN is in the Cincinnatti Region. Try zip codes for VA (in the Central Atlantic), NC, GA, or AL (Southeast), MS or AR (Gulf States) or MO (Kansas City). The Regions order the cars then allocate them to the dealers. Once you find a state, AAA has a car buying program. Best wishes for finding what you want at a good price.
This can't be done if it's not allocated to a certain region. The dealer would have to acquire one at the port en route to other regions.
