Moving a few states away. Wanting to rent a car carrier and tow my 2012 behind the moving truck. Budget rental says they have car carriers for ever year but 2012 and 2013.

I don't get it. Is there any difference at all in ground clearance or wheel base between 2011's and 2012's? Are they just uniformed?

I believe they are uninformed. If it were me, I would tell them I have a 2011 and take my chances. Just be very careful when you drive it on.

As far as I can tell there zero difference between the 2012 and the 2014. There was a cosmetic update that changed a couple things in 2012. The differences are:

    +.8" in length
    -.2" ground clearance

However they list the 2014 model as compatible so I think I'm safe in assuming they're drop down list is just missing years or they are uninformed.

I think you're safe. If it were me, I'd do it.

    Well those would be differences.

That might be exactly why budget is saying they don't have carrier for that year.

Ahh see but there's no differences at all between 2012, 2013, and 2014. But 2012 and 2013 are somehow incompatible where 2014 is.
