My 2007 Metallic Gray exterior--gray interior prius is 3 months old. I wash/clean the interior/exterior weekly and always park with a sunshade in place. I've recently noticed 3"x5" speckled "white areas" in the plastic trim just below the passenger front door armrest. These area's almost appear as "rub" spots however my prius is a one person car? Has anyone else noticed this circumstance? If I armor-all these area's they go away for a few hours only to return--- when i purchased the vehicle i did a complete interior check for damage and at the time of pickup these area's were not visible--I have noticed overall that the interior vinyl-plastic area's seem to less than ideal---but mine seems to mutating.... thank you in advance for any advice or input Froley
Armor-All is viewed by many as detrimental to plastics and rubber. There are better products that are not as oily, do not contain alcohol, and give better UV protection.
At least your dash hasn't cracked like my 2002 Dodge pickup! Toyota needs to hurry up with the Tundra hybrid, so I can replace the Dodge! I can even buy American, since the Tundra is built right here in San Antonio!
