    2007 Prius option package #5
Page 127 of Owner's Manual states
"if the vehicle speed rises above 5 km/h (3 mph) while the parking brake is appled, a buzzer sounds"

If I did not completedly apply the parking brake and fail to notice the red warning light I can drive for some time before I happen to notice the light.
Is the fact that the buzzer does not sound a problem that should be fixed or is the book just not clear as to under what conditions the buzzer should sound?
    Thanks

That must be new for the '07 or so, because it certainly doesn't
happen on mine. And I've done plenty of higher speed parking-brake
action while spinning around in snowy parking lots.

Depends on what "buzzer", too. There are several beep producing
devices around the cabin. The one specifically for the brakes is
high and shrill and loud and is to warn of brake-pressure loss.
