BRAKE- ABS- VSC- warning lights on-NO CODES on code reader-What could be the problem?

Your code reader is not capable of reading the ABS codes that you need to be seeing more than likely just my guess here funny thing is though my old junkie and over 3100 something the base model $40 scanner reads ABS codes and codes that it can't even identify It puts the number up and says something about it can identify the code The code was written after the scanner but yet the scanner knew it was coming so it's programmed to read the code it just doesn't know what it is completely weird.

If you don't have a code reader yet that can show you those codes, you don't have to be helpless while you wait. Just get the codes this way:

Your odds of guessing the problem is 1 in 200 or more, so you need to read the trouble codes associated with the warning lights. Like others have already mentioned, your scan tool is not good enough to read your car's trouble codes.
