Okay, got this beauty about a month and half ago. Have driven it for 9k miles so far...lots of road trips...haven't done anything to it. Everything works flawlessly, except for loud tire noise coming from the front of the car. Not sure if tires or some worn out rotating part. Anyways, what kind of fluid change or maintenance should I do to it. I plan to drive it for at least another 100k miles. Thanks.

    PRIUS POWER!

What services were done to the car before you bought it? You don't want to repeat what's already done.

Thanks JC for your reply...I have no idea...Bought it from a dealer that got the car from an auction. Have no records.

You can check for service records at the Toyota website. If the previous owner serviced the car at a dealership, the records would be there. Go create an account at the "owners" portal. Put in your car Vin# and add it to your profile. There you should see records of the car.

At 120k miles you should have:

    1. New spark plugs
    2. Coolant change (radiator and inverter)
    3. Transaxle fluid change
    4. Brakes checked (fluid changed if moisture is a problem)
    5. Change all air filters
    6. Check the water pump and belt condition (belt should be changed based on age)
    7. Check the health/condition of the 12v battery
    8. Throttle body and MAF sensor cleaning

Wow thanks...was able to pull up the record. The previous owner seem to have went to the same dealer for all their services. Fuel pump was changed recently but no record of coolant changes. Will call the dealer for more info and perform the services you recommended. Thanks so much.

Loud tire noise? Check the hub/bearing assembly - a common replacement item.
