I just spent a week in Boston. Loved the city did mostly walking and some public transportation to see the sites. I only saw 14 Prius cars on the roadways during my trip. That seemed like a small amount anyone from Boston, MA that can comment on this. In the Denver area I can see 14 in a day.
When I ordered my car I saw a Prius on the road maybe once a month. Now I see maybe 3 a week. I think some areas out on 495 may have more than Boston does. But they have been scarce around here. I had to wait a year for mine. Seems like Toyota shipped a lot more out west.
Not sure how many Prii there are in Boston - but I do know that I ordered mine over three months ago and I'm still waiting!!!
seems the higher priority areas are california and southern areas where the air pollution/smog factor is a bigger issue. as it is, in NC i had to wait 4 months!
Actually, I live in Newton, just outside of Boston and I see a >10 prii every day. I had no trouble getting same day delivery on my package 3 as long as I wanted black or white. The bigger dealers seem to have 3's, 4's and 6's on the lot in limited colors. Some dealers are still quoting 6mo, but others just have them.
