Bluetooth music streaming and USB connection not working

Hello,

I am a happy owner of the 2017 Toyota Prius with JBL and Navigation system (My Touch 2 & Go). Unfortunately I can't play music over the Bluetooth nor USB.
1. Iphone 7 and Iphone 5s running 12.1.4 and 12.1.2 respectively connect for BT, WiFi Hot Spot. BT phone calls work flawlessly, when I go to media, the BT screen freezes with Loading message. Phone seems to be playing music (connected to Toyota My Touch) but there is no sound
2. When I plug in phones via USB they are being charged and there is a message dock connected. No sound. USB and Ipod icons on the screen are greyed out.
3. When I connect Ipod Classic via USB I get a Toyota screen on the IPOD, but no sound and the USB and IPOD icons are greyed out
4. Anything connected to the aux works
5. CD Works
6. Radio works
7. JBL Harman demo - works on screen but no sound

I would appreciate your advice, because I am clueless and frustrated.
