I had a block heater I bought from PriusChat and had it installed at my local Toyota dealer. I bought a WeMo Switch that I got from Amazon. The WeMo Switch is hooked up to my Wifi so with the WeMo app I downloaded for my iPhone I can turn my block heater on remotely 40 min so so before I use my Prius so it is all warmed up and ready to go. Also I can set up the remote switch like a timer to turn on in the morning before I head out. So far it is working very well. Thought it would help others who use block heaters
