Bizarre Problem with Reading Texts and Bluetooth Audio

I don't know if any of you have experienced this before, but there's a problem whereby whenever you have the car read you an incoming text message, whatever song happens to be playing restarts from the beginning. At least this is happening on my Note 3. I should note that this happens with EVERY SUBSEQUENT text message as well. I can only listen to the same intro to the same song so many times before going insane, and if I'm in the middle of an hour long mix set and don't happen to see the time index before it happens, I have a hard time of figuring out where I left off. Has anyone had this problem? If so, were you able to fix it? Any ideas on how I might fix it?
