Best wheel/tire setup for autocross?

I'm wanting to build my car with some light modifications to enter into some local autocross events, mainly just with my suspension and wheel setup. If anybody here has set up their Prius for a similar purpose, what size wheels do you run? Any specific wheels/tires you would recommend? My budget isn't huge since I'm still a student, so I'm not necessarily looking for the highest end option possible, just something that would be good enough. Some recommendations for a suspension setup would be amazing too. Thanks!
