Best passive crossover location?

Alright, I have the little crossover from an infinity cs6500 component speaker set and I need to figure out where to put this sucker and how to connect it to the door.

I see there is room inside the door down by the wooded but other forums say it is better to keep the crossover inside the dry part of the door. Is there a place up by the door handle that would be inside the vapor barrier and still fit inside some cavity of the trim? It does not seem like there is a lot of room when the trim is in place.

Also, is sticky tape enough for holding a crossover to the door?

Answering my own question, if you look at the frontward side of the door release handle, go about three inches forward and two inches down this seems to have a decent hollow around it when the trim is installed.
