Best deals out there for 2008 or 2009

When I was searching around the first of the year, the best offers I was getting for a new '09 pkg 2 were around $23,300 including the $750 factory cashback. I was a bit surprised we couldn't do better, between the big inventory buildup and the usual end of year deals. As I recall that offer was from I-10 Toyota in Indio. We ended up going for a low mileage Certified Preowned '08 as the deals seemed better and it was local. We ended up with a package 4 w/10k miles for $20,800. All those prices are base price incl dest, but not tax, tag, doc etc).
