Haven't visited in a while but now I need the forums help. My '06 was T-Boned at 45mph into the driver’s side door. Car is a total loss (see attached pic) but I walked away with virtually no injuries. The other vehicle literally punched through the driver's side door into the compartment. Needless to say, I am staying with the Prius. Seems like dealers are still in the same mindset back in the 05-06 frenzy days. Don’t know if it is residual from the "Cash for Clunkers" deal or what but nobody seems to want to negotiate price even though they have inventory on the floor.
Question, what is the best deal you got on the '10 Prius and how did you get it?
I am basically looking for a package V with the Advanced Tech Pack and would like to pay about $30.5 which is about $500 to $750 above invoice with destination. Dealers are saying $34-$37. Am I being unrealistic? Tell me your stories.
BTW - I thought my HOV stickers would be dead, but I guess CA DMV is letting qualifying vehicles whose cars were totaled to get replacement stickers. That was a relief (until 2011),

Thanks in advance for any comments.

I ordered the car in June and took delivery about 6 weeks ago. Paid MSRP plus shipping and port options which were floor mats, rear bumper applique, and cargo net. Came to about 33.5 plus license fees (no sales tax here). Checked with several dealers in this area and that was the only price available here at that time, no one had the car in stock so I ordered it and waited.

The ATP is a bit higher now because they added in a USB connector and the Toyota On Star thing whatever they call it.
