Battery PID codes

Today I started discovering the Prius battery PID codes. These are query / response codes on the CAN bus. They are used by scan tools to troubleshoot a vehicle.

The reason we need them is because we must implement them in our PHEV batteries, to make them fully compatible with the stock battery (we replace the stock battery with our PHEV battery).

The reason YOU may be interested in them is that, using the XGAUGE feature of the newest ScanGauge, you can find out all sorts of nifty things about your Prius battery.

I am just starting, and you can help!

First, I discovered all the PIDs that the stock Prius battery supports. Then, I prepared a table of them in the EAA-PHEV wiki.

There are 34 of them. But I already figured out what a few of them mean, and some of them are supposed to be there but I haven't seen them. That leaves 18 that need to be figured out, and Attila Vass has some hints on 4 of them.

Do you want to help? You need a way of sending the PID request on the CAN bus and see what response comes back. I use a CANUSB. If you discover any, please update the table, or let me know and I'll do so.
