In the last few days, the weather has been approaching triple digits, and I noticed I'm no longer hearing the HV battery fan. Are these known to go bad?

On gen II, the duct is known to get clogged with lint, dog hair, etc. I don't know if it is a problem with gen I, but I'd like to know too.

Not to worry... I heard the fan when I came home and parked today. All is well. :D

If your HV battery fan malfunction, it will trigger the engine light on. I know that because it happen to me last year and it cost around USD$250 for a new HV battery fan.
