I just recently purchased a 2017 GEN4 , after owning all the previous generations. It has a B1441 or climate control read 41 code only, that will not erase, at all, it will come instantly right back. I used techstream to activate the blend door and actuators, I even took the glove box out and looked at the actuator and inside the air filter housing, while operating the climate control. It seems to work just fine, plastic wheel is turning, arm is moving, air flow and temp is changing, you can hear it, however the code will not go away, that usually is related to a electrical short, a mechanical failure of the actuator will erase the code and eventually come back few minutes later or next day, this code pops right back. Do you think it is triggered by something else? Vehicle got a new cat converter with cooling lines under recall ,recently, a new water pump as a "safety" measure...previous owner paid Toyota for that...heat works, AC seems to work, will clear the humidity in the car fast, coolant level is at the normal level, no leaks...any suggestions?
