I check the Allocation spread sheet periodically, having ordered a Prime several months ago. Being in Minnesota, I've found that less than a dozen Premiums are ever listed. I'm spending a few weeks in the Phoenix area and thought I'd check Primes out here. Surprisingly, Arizona has ZERO cars listed on the spreadsheet. Anyone have any thoughts on why AZ isn't on the sheet? Are Priuses not selling in AZ? With California selling dozens of cars daily it seems odd.

historically, toyota has shied away from non carb states with their plug ins. if that is changing, arizona may just be near the bottom of the list, or their dealers aren't interested in newer technology

States that don’t care about pollution. Carb states like Calif have stricter guidelines.

some states have adopted their pollution requirement so are carb compliant or carb states, and the ones that haven't are non carb.

toyota gets credit for every plug in they sell in carb states, and can use those credits as offsets in cali for all the land yachts they sell there.
so they prefer to sell in carb states, but have long claimed it is the dealers in non carb states that don't want plug ins.
