Hello, I have been having the Auxiliary Battery Low warning for 2 consecutive days now. I'm tempted to send it to the dealership since I'm due for service anyway. Out of curiosity, can I get the battery tested at any Autozone or Oreilly? Does Prius have specific battery type? Thanks.
Yes. And yes......but only "specific" because of the size and type of posts. Any "exact replacement" should be fine. Ask the dealer what they will charge and then shop around........if you are qualified to replace it yourself. If not, let the dealer do it.
