Automtic Door Lock Settings

    I am trying to change the automatic door lock setting to unlock the doors when I open the drivers side door not when I shift into park. The manual is vague and I am not having any success at all. Any help?

    it is vague, and a bit tricky. if you can't pull it off, the dealer can do it for you, or it can be done with a code reader.

    Use the Nav or display radio. There is a GUI for it now. Hit the SETUP button then go into door settings. The car must be in ON or READY for this to work. Since I have a Five the exact menus are different but the gist is the same.

    I did the same thing. Didn't want to be mugged waiting at the bank drive thru with the car in Park.
