I'm sorry, I'm not really understanding the question, do you mean how do you lock the doors automatically or were you telling us how to?
Yes, I would like to know in case I forget to lock the car, is there a way so that the car lock itself?
I saw in the owners manual that there is a way using the "Display Audio System" so I will read that manual and post later
If it is in the manual please post it. Definitely news to me... Best of luck to you and "Welcome to Prius Chat"!
I think you might be thinking that if you have unlocked the doors but do not open them, the locks will relock automatically within 60 seconds. I could be wrong.
Yes, thats true and I tested in my prius and its working fine, what i saw in the manual is the "Speed-detecting automatic door lock function" its off by default, I turn it on but this function does not imply on my question, I guess its not possible like you guys said, thanks anyways for your responses
My gen 2 prius locks itself If you leave it unlocked for 2 mins or so.. No alarm or anything aftermarket. Won't lock of keys in the ignition slot.

Might be inconvenient but for me might be better, its been like 3 times I forget to lock it overnight
We had a 2002 Bravada that once you left the car (no key left in ignition) it would lock itself in 1 minute unless you opened a door before the time limit was up - sometimes inconvenient when trying to get groceries from it
