We purchased the software a little over a year ago and recently HAD to upgrade even though according to their web site you may use the software as long as you like. The recent firmware update locked us out and we had no choice.

If you look at my other threads you will see that we purchased this software to diagnose two Gen 1 Prius. A 2002, and my 2003.

After many back and fourths with log files to Autoenginuity we were told that the 2002 was not putting out any DTC codes other than the C1259, and to "take it up with Toyota". This was about June of last year.

Recently we were back on working on mine, where the Autoenginuity software reports only a C1259. Nothing else. This according to the factory manual, my other research, and e-mails from Arts Automotive, is not possible as a Triangle and MIL would set a DTC and the RESULT is an accompanying C1259. Toyota factory manual says to fix the HV ECU DTC's first before being concerned about the C1259.

My most recent email with AE an hour ago (after sending the log file) was a response that the car is not putting out any DTC other than the C1259, and to take it up with Toyota.

I know that few of you here have used the AE software, but my question is have ANY of you had your MIL, check engine, and Triangle come on and have NO DTCs?
