So, I've owned the PiP for 10 days and 140 miles, and this is the first car I've ever owned with built-in navigation (TomTom and Garmin have served me quite well previously). One of the benefits of built-in nav should be the integration of the voice guidance with the audio system. Yet on my PiP, the system does not mute the radio when the voice guidance announces a turn. Am I missing something? Is there a hidden setting? I've searched the manuals fruitlessly so far. Thanks in advance!
I have a Honda NAV and it mutes the radio when giving directions. It works very well. The Toyota NAV where the directions is over the radio is kind of annoying but I haven't had time to look for a setting. If anyone can find the setting (or a hack), I'd appreciate it.
