I am using the a/c on auto and unless I am seeing things, I could swear that the auto switch turns off. From lit up to not lit up. Anyone else have the same problem?

Are you selecting different modes when the AC is in Auto? If so, that will turn it off. I believe that adjusting the fan speed will also turn it off.

I believe you are correct. The "auto a/c" always turns off If adjusting any HVAC switches. The system switches to manual.

From what I have read on other posts here, and from my experience, when you select any of the other buttons on the Climate Control unit (Temperature, Air Direction Mode, Fan Speed, etc.), the Auto light will go out. Only the mode that you selected goes to manual but all of the other features (temperature, fan speed, etc.) remain in auto mode. The Auto light is on only when all of the individual modes are in Auto.
