armrest getting pilly

    My car wash guys spilled a little too much liquid on the driver's door handle, and now the tan fabric is looking a little rough and pilly.

    Will brushing help? What kind of brush is best? the Alcantara instructions say "soft bristles" Can anybody elaborate? Hair brush? Shoe Brush? Toothbrush??!!

    I actually found a set of brushes at Costco for car care and there was one in there for upholstry. It is a little stiffer than a shoe brush but not quite as stiff as the hairbrush that I use on my hair.
