Has anybody seen any news on arizona's exemption for hybrids in the HOV lane? I know the pilot program maxed out at 10,000 participants a while back, and that in early 2008 there was a state senate bill to make this permanent and remove the participant limit (SB 1041), but I haven't heard a peep since. Last I heard, it was in committee in the house-- is it still bogged down in committee, or did it actually get a "no" vote?
I haven't heard anything, but given how state politics are going I can't imagine it ever even making it to the floor to be voted on.
