Happy with the model V. The wheels/tires provide a firm, responsive ride. If that's what you care about, you could do aftermarket products on a cheaper model. Beyond that, the AT package has stuff I really like, like radar cruise control. Haven't tried LKA yet, and will ignore the semi-automatic parking. I hope never to appreciate the pre-collision system, but I'm happy it's there.

Temper this opinion with the fact that I buy a new car every 10 years and am always dazzled by whatever new car that I buy, so I try to get all the gizmos. The V is pricey, with the AT package even more so, so you decide.

Happy with making the choice of purchasing a Prius V, now with 10k miles since early November 2009.

After 16K miles, yes. I choose a V because of the quicker steering and wider tires, I am not disappointed. My car drives very nicely, a good highway car.

Love everything of it, absolutely! It's an awesome car with the best features! Very reliable, good looking, roomy interior, powerful handling, luxury tools and so on! It's a good car and still don't understand why media is attacking it unfairly too much instead it's time to talk about low quality short lasting even more dangerous other cars that we all know!

    Yes!

I'm still, after almost 9 months, thrilled with mine. The DRCC never ceases to amaze me. The car is comfortable over long drives, feels solid on the road and has never mis-behaved for me.

On a scale of 1 to 10, I'll unhesitatingly give it an 11 or higher score.

The only complaint I'd mention is that the USB interface is dreadfully slow plodding thru the folders and files (e.g. albums and tracks) and it would be nice if Toyota's lawyers let my passenger scroll thru the lists while I'm busy driving.

    Re: Yes!

The bluetooth works well with my itouch,I don't use the USB, I will have to try it!! The JBL sound system is one of the best stock sound systems I've heard.

Yes, the only thing I was not happy with was the price, $33K, had I waited 4 weeks (bought at the end of January 2010) for Toyota to explode the way it has, I would have saved a few bucks. The new gizmos and improved handling versus my 2004 Gen 2 are impressive.

Yes, very much so. The look of the wheels/tires alone is worth it. I did not get the Tech package, and I don't miss not having it. I wanted leather and nav, so the V was the way to go for me. Can't believe, though, that it does not have an electric seat for the driver!

I like mine, including the AT package. My wife likes the heated seats and LKA. It handles better than my 2007. I liked the 2007, but my son wanted it after his car was totaled in an accident. That gave me an excuse to get a 2010.:)

Another nice thing about the front seat is you can raise or lower it!!
It Would be nice if you could tip the front of the seat up or down,
Had this on a Volvo, it worked well:nod:

I am extremely happy with my 2010 Prius w/AT package. It is one of the better cars that I have ever own. No problems with the 2010 Prius yet. It is like a Timex watch, it keeps on running. I highly recommend the 2010 Prius. And the deals now is better than ever.

Only one thing I positively hated, the black floor mats in a Blizzard Pearl Prius with a light 'Bisque' colored interrior. For some reason no one has yet been able to fathom, Toyota put a Cargo Area Floor Mat in the car that actually matches the carpet, but in the front and rear seating area they supplied black floor mats, which show every crumb, fleck of dirt and everything else. I know this despite having removed them the moment I got the car home from the dealer because I have a 2004 Jeep with black carpets and matching floor mats that needs to be vacuumed about four times a day. But the Jeep has a charcoal grey interior, so the black actually matches somewhat, though I'd have preferred grey carpets.

Otherwise I LOVE the Prius V, my second.

How many miles were on your Prius when it was delived. Mine had been driven for 166 miles before the Toyota Dealer sold it to me as a New Car. Last Prius, a 2007 Touring model had 188 miles on it when I bought it, and they sold me that also as if it were a new car. Do any of you have the same experience ? ? ?

Yes New Yorker, mine had 191 miles on it "new", but is was a "dealer swap" from a neighboring state (New Hamphsire). On the https://auth.toyotaownersonline.com/ website, it shows they did the PDS service on 10/27/2009 at the original Toyota dealer in NH and the Odomoeter had 10 miles on it, when I picked it up in Braintree, MA, on 1/23/2010 it was @ 191. Must have been driven down, and then had many "test drives" on it (I was one of them). I think you will find that with a lot of the "V''s, as everyone wants to try out the LKA / DRCC / IPA features...

So your expensive new Prius was 'Broken In' at 80 MPH by the minimum wage transport driver, just like my two Prius's were ! Plus the yokels taking it for a spin at the dealer. There was a time when such cars were sold at a big discount as, " Demonstrators ". You and I paid full price to own a used 'Demonstrator' car. Actual "NEW" cars, I've bought a dozen such vehicles in my life, have less than 25 miles on them, and often only 3 or 4.

So there is something else about my New Prius V that i do NOT like at all.

Yes, well the choice was "take this one" or wait 4-6 months to order what you want, and wait for it to get delivered (which I could have done)

The color, options, etc, where what I wanted, and I knew the car had 191 miles on the Odometer, because I was the LAST test drive it had, I bought it, and they moved it "inside" to prep it for sale, and take it out of inventory, so I knew what I was getting, not like they showed it to me with 10 miles on it, then delviered it with 191.
I doubt it was driven at 80mph, those schlubs get paid by the hour, probably was driven down at 50mph, to make it last longer and get paid more :)
